PhD candidate Effrosyni Androulakaki received the Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the National Technical University of Athens (2010) and currently is a PhD candidate in Department of Physics of National Technical University of Athens. She has participated in two European research programs (BlackSeaHazNet, 12CHN212). Her research activities are focused on Environmental Radioactivity and in Instrumentation and techniques on Nuclear Physics applications (gamma-ray spectrometry (HPGe, NaI(Tl), CeBr3), Monte Carlo simulations (FLUKA, MCNP5, MCNP-CP), 137Cs, 226,228,224Ra pre-concentration techniques, alpha spectroscopy (RAD7, Alphaguard)). She has been a member of Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society and has participated in several workshops and Greek Conferences and in the International Conference of Environmental Radioactivity “ENVIRA”. Her record includes over 5 publications in scientific journals and over 6 papers in conference proceedings
